Activity description
Get started on ski touring at Col d'Entrèves with a passionate and experienced instructor!
The Mont-Blanc massif and the Alps in general are a vast playground for backcountry skiing riders.
During this introduction to ski touring, you will be accompanied by Martin Narcy, a mountain guide who will teach you the basics of this winter sport.
Programme:
- You meet up at 8 am and climb the Aiguille du Midi cable car then go down the ridge and the beginning of the Vallée Blanche.
- At the foot of the Pointe Adolphe Rey, you skin from the Combe Maudite to the Col d'Entrèves. You enjoy a beautiful view of the Alps (France/Italy/Switzerland).
- You return by riding down the Vallée Blanche to Chamonix according to the conditions, or end of the trip to the Montenvers train.
- Return to Chamonix in the middle of the afternoon.
Objectives:
- Discover another type of ski activity
- First experience in mountain skiing
Minors must have authorisation from their parents.
A good physical condition is required. It is necessary to have a good level of skiing, control of its speed and trajectory, and the habit of evolving in changing snow and often deep at this altitude. Experience in ski touring is recommended but not mandatory.
Price is given for a group of 1 to 4 participants.
